Inner City Health Center
Inner City Health Center is a private, non-profit, health care facility for low-income and medically uninsured families in a private health care setting. Having outgrown their existing building, they hired Studio DH Architecture to design a new 15,000 SF space, effectively doubling their capacity to serve the growing numbered of uninsured.
The new facility combines two existing buildings of the historic Denver Army Medical Depot into a single medical clinic via a connecting lobby. In addition to enabling expanded care, the new facility allows ICHC to present ongoing seminars to individuals and families on topics such as oral care and prevention, nutrition, childhood obesity, the importance of immunizations, and other topics that help diminish the cost burden of dental and medical care and promote a healthy community.
