Located close to I-25 & Colorado Blvd. in Denver, Colorado this facility will meet the needs of the surrounding multi-family and single family neighborhoods as well as many of the nearby businesses. The property is zoned to allow up to 12 story buildings. Given the relatively small site, the Owner decided to take advantage of the zoning opportunity and build a six story building. Building such a tall storage facility required a creative approach to solving difficult code conditions. This building was designed with a fire rated 4th floor which allowed a less expensive construction type on the upper 3 floors. The building’s total square footage is roughly 123,300 sf spread over 6 floors and offers over 900 storage units. The building design reflects the Extra Space brand with a modern architectural style utilizing an energy efficient and cost effective insulated metal panel system over most of the building.
