Dry Dock Brewery
Dry Dock Brewery’s new $4.5 million production facility, a huge undertaking that positions the eight-year-old Aurora business to grow first in Colorado and then nationally, features a canning line and four vessel, 40 BBL brewhouse is capable of producing 60,000 barrels annually. The system can start a new batch every three to four hours, all operated by touchscreen.
They expect to brew 12,000 BBL in 2013, up from 3,278 produced in 2012 at their existing brewery, which will remain in operation and focus on more experimental seasonals, sours and lagers.
This facility is sized for future growth and should minimize the need for another expansion in the foreseable future.
