Extra Space Storage Littleton
This previously undeveloped site is bordered on two sides by residential users who were very concerned that a self-storage facility would open the door to unsightly industrial uses. This input helped to guide the selection of exterior building materials and detailed elevations that reflected the architecture of adjacent developments. The residential neighbors eventually became supportive of the project and were instrumental in the approval of the re-zoning. Additional site constraints included a large detention pond along the northern boundary, an access easement along the south, and existing driveways serving two adjacent businesses.
