New Terrain Brewery
Looking to expand from their current 5 barrel system and re-brand their small downtown Golden, CO tasting room, New Terrain Brewery worked with Studio DH Architecture to provide a new building with 15,000 sf of brewing production space, a 3,000 sf tap room with private barrel room and event space and a 2,300 sf outdoor patio with space for food trucking parking. Located near softball fields, a mountain bike parkand local hiking trails the structure combined.
Cast-in-place tilt-up panels common in the adjacent industrial development with traditional steel frame construction allowing to the tasting room to feature weathered wood, stone and corrugated metal. In good weather glass garage doors open up the interior to the patio. The 20 barrel system in the production area is framed through a large glass wall in the tap room and allows flexibility for the system to be expanded as demand grows.
